We’re thrilled to announce that Murrumbidgee will be participating in the Great Southern BioBlitz 2025 — an international citizen science event uniting communities across the Southern Hemisphere in a shared mission: to record as many species as possible from October 24th to 27th, 2025!
Organised locally by Murrumbidgee Landcare Inc (MLi), this is an exciting opportunity to showcase the incredible biodiversity of the Murrumbidgee catchment while engaging the community in hands-on nature discovery. 🌼🦎🦋
Whether you're in the bush, by the river, on the farm, or in your own backyard — every observation counts! Join us and thousands of others across the Southern Hemisphere as we record blooming wildflowers, active reptiles, buzzing insects, and birds in full song, all captured on iNaturalist.

📤 Upload Deadline: November 10, 2025
